Nope....I believe you are neither bitter nor angry...you are just plain CONFUSED!!!!! It must be your short or non-existent antenna to fully comprehend what was actually wanted...

Despite putting aside your trademark egoism and no matter how you explained your inner feelings, sorry to point out, with your inept skills of communications, you will only aggravate the situation further and 'conteng arang dimuka sendiri'!!

But, this no longer matters anymore as you have finally come to your senses and realised why waste time & effort on building something that is not being wanted at all...
